The high pressure sodium lights from Sylvania are the ideal choice. It’s reliable and long-lasting lamps. Sylvania is a subsidiary of Osram and has certainly made a name for itself in the world of grow lights.
The lamps in the Sylvania Grolux series emit a large proportion of their light in the red spectrum (approx. 2050°K) and are therefore best suited for the flowering phase of most harvest crops and ornamental plants.
The manufacturer states that the lamps have an average lifetime of 30,000 hours in operation, which makes the Sylvania Grolux lamps not just good value, but also relatively long-lasting.
